I cant see any difference to before hearing that breaking noise as the sd card sits in place just like it did before, but now i can use all my micro sd cards and all of them get recognized. And at one time it sounded like something broke. I did absolutely no software changes, just put the sd card out and in a few times to get sure it sits in the right place. Now my question is does anyone have an idea what I could try next before thinking about it being a hardware issue? And I tried using all kind of troubleshooting options from windows. I tried a USB card reader, just to be sure -> it works. I tried different micro SD cards, which all work if I put them in other devices. I tried disabling and reenabling the SD card slot within the bios. I tried reinstalling the driver, the ones from realtek and the whole surface firmware and drivers msi package from Microsoft. But now I reached the point where I need help. As I am an IT Admin I thought no problem, you got this. As I wrote in the title my Surface Go (8GB/128GB), which I bought last week is not recognizing any micro SD cards I put into the SD card slot in the back.
